Co-curricular Activities

Life in the campus is not restricted to just classrooms but constitutes a myriad of activities like co-curricular pursuits, leadership, value added programmes and courses which help in the holistic development of students. As part of the same under the initiative of students various clubs are functioning.

Club Activities

Finance Club

The Finance Club is dedicated in helping its members in cultivating the interest of students in finance as an academic subject and also as a career option. The club activities covers activities include conducting knowledge sessions, quizzes, crosswords, case analysis, career preparation session, mock trading etc.
The Finance Club helps the students to open Saving Bank Accounts , PAN card , AMFI , BSE, VSE & IRDA certificates etc. Dr. B. Rajendran is the faculty in charge of Finance Club and the student representatives are Ms. Soumya S. and Mr. Praveen V.J.

Entrepreneurship Development Club

The Entrepreneurship Development club is to inculcate entrepreneurship among the students and to equip them with the skills, techniques and confidence to act as torch bearers of "Enterprise" for the new generation. The main objective of the club is to change the ‘mindset on the negative attitude prevailing in the state for taking up entrepreneurship as a career. Based on the attitude and skill of our students, we promote entrepreneurship.
ED club has organized a lecture series on different topics with eminent industrialist and academicians. The interaction sections was inaugurated by Dr. M. Ayyappan , Chairman & MD of HLL Life Care Ltd. Dr. K. S. Chandrasekhar , Director School of Business Management and Legal studies, Mr. Narayanan K.S. , DGM State Bank of Hyderabad were delivered an interaction section.
Dr.B.Ganesh is the faculty in charge of Entrepreneurship Development Club and the students representatives are Mr. Aravind S. R. and Ms. Soumya S.

Green club GENESIS

Genesis aims to promote the participation of students in learning about and improving their environment. Impart knowledge to help individuals and social group to gain a variety of experiences in and acquire a basic understanding of the environment. The 12 acres campus is planted with variety of trees by our staff and students. On environment day Green club has initiated a campus cleaning programme with the support of student and staff members of KICMA . The objective of the programme was plastic free campus. As green as in the beginning Genesis aim to promote the participation of student in learning about and improving their environment. Impart knowledge to help individuals and social group to gain a verity of experience in and acquire a basil understanding of the environment.
As a part of Genesis, clean campus drive was initiated on environment day with the motive of ”plastic free campus”, around 50 trees were planted within KICMA campus. On 4th February 2015 Green club has organized an ALILA PROJECT , an initiative of Co-operative department , Govt. of Kerala. The programme was inaugurated by former Co-operative Registrar Smt. S. Lalithambika IAS.
Ms. Shamini T V is the faculty in charge of Green Club and the students representatives are Mr. Ajeesh A. S. and Ms. Reshma R.
On 5th June ,2015 KICMA has observed the environment day , with the support of Social Forestry programme, Govt. of Kerala. The students and staff members were participated in this programme and planted around 250 saplings in and around our campus.


Loudspeakers' is a voluntary association of management students established in order to mould up a skilful and social oriented juvenile community. It has the mission to mould creative, responsible and committed young minds to give a new face to the corporate. KICMA students speaking over the blog . The student secretary of this club is Mr. Anupam K S.

Marketing Club

The Marketing club aims to create an environment for continuous learning among students by keeping of the current trends and developments in the marketing world. The club will provide a common platform where students can discuss about developments in the marketing world and promote their intellectual growth through a series of lectures, exhibitions workshops and tasks delivered by faculty and industry professionals.
Marketing club has organised a marketing quiz programme in 2014 as “Venalicium”.
to fine tune the students with the lessons of corporate marketing strategies. The faculty in charge of this club is Mr. Rakesh Kumar and Student representatives are Mr. Praveen V. J. and Ms. Arya C R.

HR club

HR Club to encourage and initiate student ventures in all domains of management areas for competent HR managers of tomorrow. The Mission of the HR Club is to lead thinking and share good practices in the linking of people, and in so doing provide a network forum for students and professionals from different institutes, colleges and organizations working in this area. HR Clubs initiatives includes debate, role play and quiz programmes to explore the students ideas and abilities.

Health Club

Yoga and meditation concepts are used to developing concentration and self-discipline. The weekly yoga sessions lend success in handling the pressures of hectic life. In association with Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Dhanwantari Ashram , KICMA provides some yoga training practices to our budding managers.
